ABC Cumberland Valley Christmas party and Retirement celebration for Will Seilhamer

The Cumberland Valley Chapter Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC CVC) recently recognized their committee members, 2017 Chairman, 2017 Board of Directors, and honored Will Seilhamer on his retirement at Fountainhead Country Club in Hagerstown, MD.  They also recognized one of their newest members Maurice Electrical Supply Company.

 

The Young Professionals Group ran a very successful Toys for Tots Drive.  A big thank you to the ABC CVC apprenticeship students who held a contest to see which class collected the most.  We were honored to have several Marines, SSgt Kristopher J Shelton; Retired Staff Sergeant Cole Barnhart and Toys for Tots coordinator Jim Mills, join us for the evening.  ABC recognized the numerous members who served on the Apprenticeship; Finance; Maryland legislative; Membership Retention; Pennsylvania legislative; Programs, Safety and Trust Committees.  Committees are the backbone of the organization. 

 

ABC CVC was honored to have Joe Tischer swear in the new 2017 ABC CVC Chairman, Francis Del Carden, Tischer Surety.  Amos McCoy, ABC CEO administered the oath of office to the incoming 2017 ABC CVC Board of directors; Chairman Francis Del Carden; Bradley Reynolds; Barbra Runyon; Gregory Brown; Timothy Campbell; William “Billy” Griffith; Robert Heilig; Kenneth Kline; Stephen Larue; John “Jack” Latimer; Larry Rydbom and Brooke Wenger.  They also recognized the outgoing Chairmen Brad Reynolds of Triad Engineering.

 

Our evening continued with the recognition of the past ABC CVC President, Will Seilhamer.  Will served in the navy on the USS Fred T. Berry, and then started his career in the plumbing trade and operated his own business J&W Mechanical Services.  After that he served as Vice president of Miller & Anderson Company in Hagerstown before becoming President of the Cumberland Valley Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors.  Will is a huge Maryland fan and a member of the University of Maryland terrapin Club.  The entire ABC CVC wishes the best to Will Seilhamer in his future endeavors.
